Universal and Blumhouse have released new images from the upcoming sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 classic slasher thriller Halloween, which is also called Halloween.
These new stills feature Jamie Lee Curtis returning to the role of Laurie Strode, in a film that will ignore all the previous sequels and send the Halloween franchise in a new direction. The serial killer Michael Myers is played, alternatively, by Nick Castle (who played Myers in the original Halloween) and actor/stuntman James Courtney.
IGN visited the set of the new Halloween in Charleston, SC, and came back with 18 Things We Learned On the Set of Blumhouse’s Halloween, and new behind the scenes conversations with Jamie Lee Curtis and the film’s director, David Gordon Green, and his co-writer Danny McBride.
