The Incredibles 2 director Brad Bird doesn’t want to make sequels to Ratatouille and The Iron Giant.
In an interview with iO9, Bird explained he doesn’t think there’ll be anything interesting to explore in both sequels. The filmmaker instead wants to focus on new projects.
“You know, I feel like that story is told,” Bird said, talking about making a new Ratatouille movie. “I’m told I need to do an Iron Giant 2 and I’m told I need to remake everything that I’ve made and no one apparently wants anything new anymore.
“I’m a little at odds with society on that. I would like to do some new things.”
