Today at Electronic Arts’ EA Play E3 event the company revealed FIFA 19 and confirmed that it has acquired the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Super Cup licenses for the soccer franchise.

The licenses won’t just be featured in standalone tournaments, but instead be threaded throughout the game (which again features recent Champions League winner with Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo on the cover), from career mode to Ultimate Team to The Journey story mode. The Journey: Champions (only on PS4, Xbox One, and PC), features Alex Hunter in his final story as he chases Champions League glory.

On the pitch, this year’s game alters the ways players receive and strike the ball, win 50/50 battles for loose balls, and setup their squad’s tactics.

Apart from the standard version, the game also comes in the Champions Edition and Ultimate Edition formats. Pre-order the Champions Edition (available for all systems) and get three-days early access, Ronaldo and Neymar Jr. FUT loan items, 20 Jumbo Premium Gold FUT packs, and more. The Ultimate Edition (a digital-only edition not available for Switch), meanwhile, comes with 40 Jumbo Premium Gold FUT packs, among other goodies.

In addition, EA Sports announced that FIFA 18 is currently available for a free trial to coincide with the big World Cup update.

FIFA 19 releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch on September 28.
