Bethesda Game Studios has revealed its brand-new ‘next-gen’ game, Starfield. Todd Howard took the stage and revealed that this nex-gen game would be a third open-world pillar next to Fallout and Elder Scrolls.
Though he didn’t clarify, his use of the term “next-gen” seems to point to Starfield launching on the successors to the Xbox One and PlayStation 5.
Since at least E3 2016, Todd Howard has been discussing two major projects Bethesda has been developing that he expected players would see before The Elder Scrolls VI. First calling them “different than anything we’ve done before,” Howard later told IGN those two projects were “bigger than anything we’ve done” before.
