Microsoft closed its E3 press conference this year with the re-emergence of Cyberpunk 2077, the next major project from CD Projekt Red, best known for its work on the Witcher series.
After a number of teases (including a beep that took Twitter by storm), CDPR finally offered us our first glimpse at its take on the Cyberpunk role-playing game and world.
The game takes place in the most violent city in America. The trailer below establishes a standard cyberpunk premise: A major class divide that pits the extravagance of the entertainment and pleasures at hand against the stark poverty of most of its citizens.
The trailer was billed as being “Game Engine Footage” and if this is indicative of how the game will look when we get it in our hands on it, it should look stellar, as the models were incredibly detailed and lifelike.
