If there’s one thing The Division 2’s development team wants you to know, it’s that they’ve learned their lesson about the lack of end game content after the launch of The Division in 2016.

That’s something they’re looking to rectify ahead of the release of The Division 2 on March 15, 2019.

The concept of an “end game first” mentality was brought up a number of times by the dev team during Ubisoft’s E3 corporate event on Sunday, June 10. The two representatives of The Division 2’s dev team, Massive Entertainment managing director David Polfeldt and vice president of online services Stephanie Perotti, discussed how the experience of being unprepared for the post-game desire in the first game’s launch ultimately hurt them, though they feel the franchise has come out the stronger for it.
