During a Nintendo Direct today, Nintendo announced that Daisy will be a playable character in the newly-revealed Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
After revealing that Ultimate features every character in the history of the franchise, director Masahiro Sakurai explained the concept of “echo fighters,” characters like Dark Pit or Lucina who heavily share a moveset with an existing character.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Daisy will be a new echo fighter with mostly the same moveset as Peach.
