Another Electronic Entertainment Expo has come to an end. We laughed, we cried, we ate Drake’s Cakes. Well, I didn’t do the latter, I’m pretty sure we don’t have that brand in Blighty. Thanks a lot, Brexit.
In all, some 69,200 punters attended the Los Angeles Convention Center for this year’s festivities, where they visited 200 exhibitors (80 of whom were attending for the first time), who were plugging around 3,250 products, from accessories and games, to toys and other merch. Celebrities in attendance included Elijah Wood, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Camilla Luddington, Jack Black, Amy Hennig, CJ Andriessen, Darren Aronofsky and many others.
The Entertainment Software Association, that runs and owns E3, also announced the dates for next year’s event, where we can see all the games that were announced at this year’s event and won’t be anywhere near close to completion. E3 2019 will take place June 11-13 2019. So you’ve got plenty of time to get your pennies saved up, buy your hand sanitiser and create your Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay.
Hope you all enjoyed the show!
