In many ways, leveling praise or complaints onto Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is doing so to the subgenre itself. Even if it doesn’t break new ground for the genre there are no filler quests and the writing is wonderful. The bottom line is that POE2DF is a rich and rewarding title
