I was among the members of the press invited last September to the Atlanta set of Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp. During our set visit, we interviewed director Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, and Michael Douglas — as well as key production personnel — about making the the Marvel sequel.
While they were understandably guarded about discussing certain aspects of the film, they did shed some light on the plot and characters. We found out interesting new details about the heroes’ mission in the movie, the Quantum Realm (and the challenges of revisiting it, visually, this time), the new vehicle our heroes use in their journey into the Quantum Realm, the rivalry between two key characters, and more.
