Octopath Traveler has no planned DLC because the title is a ‘complete game,’ says producer Masashi Takahashi.
Square Enix’s Octopath Traveler for Nintendo Switch won’t be getting any DLC because it will release as a fully complete game, says the studio.
“We haven’t even thought of having DLC,” producer Masashi Takahashi said in an interview with Dengeki Online (via Siliconera). “The retail version is a complete game.”
Takahashi also confirmed that there would be New Game Plus, saying that the studio has made it so that “you can finish the game in one playthrough,” but “depending on the order you go about things, the difficulty will organically change.”
