Jon Bernthal is set to reprise his role as Shane in The Walking Dead Season 9.
According to TVLine, Shane will appear in one episode in the new season. It’s not known exactly what role the character will play in Season 9, but he could possibly show up as a hallucination or in flashbacks.
Shane was killed off in Season 2 when he was stabbed by Rick (Andrew Lincoln). He then appeared in Season 3 for an episode as a figment of Rick’s imagination. A fan first spotted Jon Bernthal with a few Walking Dead cast members near a set in Georgia this past weekend.
