PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X owners will have two different graphical options to choose from when they boot up Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake next January. Owners will be able to choose from either 4K resolution and 30fps or a lower resolution at 60fps.
“Players will be able to play on Xbox One X and PS4 Pro in 4K,” Capcome Brand Manager Mike Lunn informed Gaming Bolt. “But if you choose to play in 4K you won’t be able to play at 60 frames per second. So it will run at 30 FPS. It is a stable

Lunn didn’t explain if the 4K resolution is native or checkerboard, nor did he detail whether Resident Evil 2 will run at a resolution of 1080 or 720 when players choose the 60fps option. He also declined to share what the framerate will be on standard Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
