Cyberpunk 2077 was announced more than six years ago, and it’s planned release remains a mystery, as CD Projekt Red won’t even say what year it’s coming out. One of the studio’s co-founders has now shed some light on the game’s lengthy development cycle.
In a recent interview with Kotaku, Marcin Iwiński, the studio’s co-founder and co-CEO, downplayed the idea that CD Projekt Red “rebooted” Cyberpunk 2077 during development. In what may just be a matter of semantics, the executive instead stated there were creative changes made.
