Things are really looking up for Ninja Theory right now. The studio was recently acquired by Microsoft, enabling it to “take bigger creative risks and create genre-defining games without the constant threat of annihilation,” and now it’s reporting a new sales milestone for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The haunting action game has sold one million copies across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

As it happens, Hellblade is currently down to $17.99 in the Steam Summer Sale.
I have to imagine its critical and commercial success has emboldened Ninja Theory. There aren’t that many studios making games like this, and I’m looking forward to whatever the team is cooking up next.
