Conan Exiles was able to leap out of early access this spring and deliver a refreshingly light hearted spin on the crowded survival game genre. Its encyclopedia of crafting recipes, respectable combat mechanics, and lively open world work together to push it above the competition. While the game has received free updates (including the excellent Frozen North expansion) throughout its run on Steam Early Access and post-release, the team at Funcom have just released the first paid DLC pack for them game, dubbed the Imperial East Pack.
The Imperial East pack is loaded with Khitai-themed crafting recipes, including building construction pieces, interior decorations, war paints, armors, and weapons. “We’re excited to have launched the first DLC for Conan Exiles, but DLCs are only one part of the post-launch strategy for the game,” said Funcom Creative Director, Joel Bylos. “We are also working on bug and stability fixes along with several free updates, including pets and taming, new dungeons, a new religion, and more. These are all large, game-altering updates that will be provided free to all players.”
Conan Exiles is available now for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Imperial East Pack is available on all platforms and will set you back $9.99.
