Mark Wahlberg is currently set to star in a Netflix film adaptation of Robert B. Parker’s Wonderland.
Wonderland, just one of a series of New York Times bestselling mystery novels which follow the exploits of Boston private eye, Spenser, is the first in a potential series of Netflix film adaptations.
Wahlberg is also set to produce the film, alongside Stephen Levinson, Peter Berg, and Neal H. Moritz. Toby Ascher and John Logan Pierson are set to Executive Produce the film, which will feature a script by Sean O’Keefe.
Wonderland’s story will follow a Spenser who has just been released from prison and stripped of his private investigator license. After learning the truth about a high-profile murder, and the conspiracy behind it, Spenser is drawn back into the Boston underworld.
