Maybe the first surprise of this year’s E3 was EA announcing Unravel Two and pulling an “And it’s available to download right now!” Those moments are always great. It takes all the anticipation out of the usual cycle. No waiting, no extended marketing — just immediately playing a thing you didn’t know existed five minutes ago.
But for anyone who didn’t immediately play Unravel Two, EA has a tactic that might sway you. There’s a free demo that’s made up of the game’s first two levels. It can be played in both single-player and local co-op. And, it’s not the sort of thing that locks after those two levels are complete. The demo is good for 10 hours, however you want to allot it.
This trial is available on all platforms — PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s not a forever thing, though. It runs now through June 30. Get to spinnin’ and swingin’ yarns if this promotion interests you.
