Westworld’s Season 2 ratings are reportedly down from Season 1 by 14% in total viewers.
Per Variety, the Nielsen Live+Same Day ratings have revealed the second season averaged 1.6 millions viewers per episode in adults 18-49. This is down from the 1.8 million viewers Season 1 averaged back in 2016.
Furthermore, the Season 2 finale also delivered a lower viewership number, averaging 1.6 million viewers. This is down by an estimated 30% in total viewers, as the Season 1 finale drew 2.2 million viewers.
Most of Westworld’s viewership comes from multi-platform and delayed viewing, with the second season expected to average 10 million viewers per episode when all the final numbers are calculated, reportedly according to HBO estimates
