I’ve noticed a lot of requests for more VR coverage on Eurogamer lately and, as a VR enthusiast myself, I can sympathise. Granted, there isn’t a huge audience for this stuff, but some of the games are really interesting. Earlier this year I did try my hand at a few VR reviews in a bid to shine a spotlight on the field, but as the year’s gaming calendar got busier I found it difficult to balance those reviews with my actual job as a video producer.
I’m not ready to give up just yet, though – so welcome to a new series that I’m calling Ian’s VR Corner! Each week, I’ll be doing a Let’s Play on our YouTube channel of a new or interesting PSVR game. I’ll be playing through a short portion in my own ‘unique’ way in order to give you an idea of whether or not it’s worth your money.
Last week I inserted my face into the mysterious detective game Kona, but VR Corner officially started this week when I donned my PSVR headset on one of the hottest days of the year to try out a curious puzzle game called Salary Man Escape.
