If you’ve been mourning the shuttering of Epic Games’ Paragon ever since it went under, there’s a spot of good news for you around the corner. Unleashed Games is working in tandem with Braindead Games to bring the successor of the now-defunct MOBA to fruition.

Despite the fact that Paragon was shut down on April 27, the developers still have hope, banking on the new game, which is as of yet unnamed and still very much in development. The merger is a bright spot for the future of the Paragon “sequel,” and there could be some fantastic stuff on the way thanks to these determined creators looking to keep the game’s legacy alive.

“All is not lost,” Unleashed Games said in a statement. “We at Unleashed Games are working around the clock to bring in the successor.” Spokesperson Matt Joro continued about the merger with Braindead Games in the same statement.

“Our company has long respected the team at Braindead Games and by getting to know their wonderful team through the merge process, we are all very excited to work alongside them in our common goal to deliver the project back to the fans.”

Epic Games’ Paragon was initially announced in November 2015, and officially launched in early access beta in March 2016. It later launched as part of a free-to-play open beta in 2017, before shuttering early last year.
