It might feel like an eternity but it’s only a month. Our first proper look at Doom Eternal is approximately four weeks away.
Bethesda is saving the gameplay reveal of Doom Eternal for QuakeCon. On August 10, the QuakeCon reveal will take place during the convention’s keynote. It’ll be livestreamed on Bethesda’s Twitch channel.
So why are we here now? Because all we know about Doom Eternal is the name, the teaser trailer that’s embedded above, and some vague promises about how “badass” it’ll be. Eternal is in a position to have our full confidence thanks to 2016’s Doom. It sounds like a good thing right now. In a month, we’ll know if it looks like a good thing.
