Panic Button is at it again! The open-world survival game Subnautica has garnered critical acclaim on PC and Xbox One as of 2015 and 2016 respectively, but one more console is joining the party. Sometime during Holiday 2018, Panic Button and Unknown Worlds are bringing Subnautica to the PlayStation 4.
Panic Button is all over the place as of late, having just taken the stage during TennoCon 2018 to reveal the team is working on the Nintendo Switch version of free-to-play action game Warframe. This adds another significant line to the resume for a team developing a solid reputation for expanding games to new platforms.
Subnautica is your usual survival fare with resource gathering, crafting, and exploration at its core. It stands ahead of the pack with its underwater setting, high degree of polish, and continued support from the development team as more people catch on to the experience.
PS4 joins PC and Xbox One as homes for this nautical adventure sometime during Holiday 2018. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
