Bandai Namco’s vampire-themed action-RPG Code Vein has officially been delayed, and will now release in 2019.
Code Vein was originally due to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC this September, but, in an official press statement, Bandai Namco said that it had chosen to postpone the game in order to “further refine its gameplay in an effort to exceed the expectations fans already have of the title”.
On Twitter, the publisher further noted that the move had been made based on feedback received over the last few months, during the likes of E3 and the Anime Expo. “It was a difficult decision to make,” it said, “but we feel it is the correct one.”
