Blade Runner is getting a bunch of new comics and graphic novels.
EW reports Alcon Media Group and Titan Publishing are teaming up to bring a variety of in canon comics and graphic novels which will explore Blade Runner’s universe. There will also be several publications about the production process behind last year’s Blade Runner 2049.
Titan’s David Manley-Leach and Alcon’s director of publishing Jeff Conner will be leading the editorial duties. However, there’s no word yet on when the first of these comics and graphic novels will be released.
“In partnering with the exceptional Titan Comics and Titan Books, we’re confident that the world of Blade Runner will continue to organically grow in a way that refuses to sacrifice the quality, tone and high standards of this beloved property,” Alcon co-founders and co-CEOs Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove said in a statement.
