Final Fantasy XIV’s Behemoth will be added as a huntable monster to Monster Hunter World on August 1, 2018, and will bring with it craftable armor resembling Final Fantasy’s Dragoons, new weapons, Moogles, Cactuar, and aetheryte crystals that are shown to enlarge monsters such as the Kulu-Ya-Ku.
Most importantly, however, may be a Behemoth skin for Poogie.
Announced at E3 2018 during Square Enix’s presentation, this free update is the first part of the Monster Hunter World and Final Fantasy XIV collaboration that will also see Monster Hunter World’s Rathalos invade Final Fantasy XIV as a challenging battle that requires a “Full Party” of eight.
