Even Square Enix didn’t know what it had with Octopath Traveler.
The day after the developer released the throwback JRPG (which we loved), Square Enix’s social team for Octopath Traveler issued an apology on Twitter for not making enough physical copies to satisfy demand.
“We are sorry that some of the shops are out of stock…” the apology read. “You can also consider the DL version…”
