Ubisoft announced a bevy of South Park news today, starting with new DLC coming to The Fractured But Whole at the end of this month.
Titled Bring the Crunch, the new DLC for the South Park sequel brings an entirely new story campaign to the game, as well as introducing a new class to its battle system. The title refers to Mint-Berry Crunch, an alien from Kokujon, who has joined up with the game’s ragtag group of superheroes. The team investigates mysterious happenings at the idyllic sleepaway camp Lake Tardicaca, setting the stage for the new content and providing context for the new Final Girl job class.
The DLC is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on July 31 and will cost $11.99.
Buried on the last page of Ubisoft’s financial report for the first quarter of the financial year, South Park: The Stick of Truth is quietly listed as a digital title for the Nintendo Switch. The Obsidian-developed RPG was originally developed for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, but was then ported to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ahead of The Fractured But Whole. It is arriving after its superhero-themed sequel on the Switch, though the financial report did not indicate exactly when beyond the time frame of July through September.
