Nothing gets the Destiny 2 community in a tizzy like limited-time cosmetic items. In Year 2 and Year 3 of the Original Destiny, I wore a shader called The Old Guard, handed out only to those who were around in Year 1. There’s just something cool about having cosmetic items that are unavailable to everyone else, which brings me to the Heart of the City emblem and how players can get it.

How to Get the Heart of the City Emblem

The Heart of the City emblem is obtained by purchasing one of the Armory Series pins from the Bungie store. These pins will cost $14.99 USD, but the price could go up with shipping costs, or for those who are outside of the U.S. and must deal with exchange rates.

The kicker is, once the purchase is made, players must wait until their Armory Series pin is delivered to them to get their legendary emblem. Unfortunately, it’s not delivered through digital code, which I found surprising. When you do have the code, however, it can be redeemed by logging into the Bungie site with your Destiny 2 account.

Players interested in the Heart of the City legendary emblem in Destiny 2 can head to the Bungie store to purchase one of the Armory Series pins, but you’ll be paying a big price for an in-game cosmetic. I’m not judging you; I’m no stranger to buying Destiny 2 cosmetics, but if you drop $15 every time someone sticks a fancy emblem in your face, you’re going to be forced into a steady diet of nothing but spicy ramen noodles.
