Microsoft has announced its financials for the year ending June 30, and the company has surpassed $10 billion in revenue in its games and services division for the first time.

Microsoft has reported a 39 per cent increase in revenue in the division, which has been credited in large part to Xbox Live, Game Pass, and Mixer.

“In Gaming, we are pursuing our expansive opportunity from the way games are created and distributed to how they are played and viewed, surpassing $10 billion in revenue this year for the first time,” said CEO Satya Nadella during an investors call, via Seeking Alpha.
