Speaking with IGN at Comic-Con today, Godzilla: King of Monsters director Michael Dougherty revealed that “there’s more than four” monsters duking it out in the upcoming film.
The ones we know about so far are Godzilla (obviously), Rodan, Mothra, and Ghidorah, who is being referred to by the more classic name Monster Zero. We don’t know who else will be joining them yet, but Dougherty jokingly said “It’s a party.”
Silicon Valley star Thomas Middleditch also said “There’s a lot of monsters,” though Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown was actually surprised to hear there were more than four, which means the others could play more minor roles.
