Edward James Olmos has been cut from The Predator movie, but says that he can “understand why”.
Slashfilm reports that Battlestar Galactica’s Edward James Olmos has been completely cut from Shane Black’s reboot of The Predator, because the film’s run time was 45 minutes too long.
“I’m not in the show though,” Olmos said. “It was too long so my character, they had to take me out. They were like half an hour, 3/4 of an hour too long. So I understand why.”
Olmos was cast in the movie last year and was set to portray a four-star general, but his character apparently wasn’t integral to the story.
