For years, EA Sports games had developed a reputation for incremental year-to-year changes. With the introduction of story-based campaigns in the form of Madden NFL’s Longshot mode and FIFA’s The Journey mode, EA has been able to inject a renewed interested in their sports franchises. For EA Sports Executive Director Cam Weber, this all began with 2011’s Fight Night Champion.

“If I had to pick one team and one game I’ve worked on in my career that I enjoyed the most, it probably was Fight Night Champion,” Weber says.
