MoviePass has reduced its daily movie selection to around six to seven titles.
Variety reports MoviePass released a statement today explaining its daily film lineup has been reduced while the company works through a “transition period.”
While the lineup will still contain both indie and blockbuster movies, showtime availability “may be limited depending on the popularity of those films on the app that particular day,” according to Variety.
MoviePass has also put a limit on major films in their first two weeks of release. Crazy Rich Asians, for example, will only be available for subscribers starting on August 19, despite the movie having been in theaters since August 15.
