From a pure gameplay standpoint, Mothergunship has an excellent concept that swings around a delicate thread during the 5-6 hour campaign. The endless mode is where the game really shines, allowing the player a lot more creativity and test of skills. At the end of the day, it’ll come down to whether the roguelike elements of the game grow on the player or not because the base mechanics make for an excellently fun game.
