Dominic Monaghan and J.J. Abrams are reuniting, with Monaghan joining Star Wars: Episode IX.
According to Deadline, Monaghan is set to join the Star Wars film in an undisclosed role.
“The galaxy far far away has had almost as much influence as the one I live in, so I am delighted to be involved,” Monaghan told Deadline.
Monaghan and Abrams previously worked together on ABC’s Lost, with Monaghan playing Charlie Pace throughout the series’ six-season run. Abrams co-created Lost and served as a director, writer and executive producer on the show.
