Joaquin Phoenix is set to play the Joker in a lower budget standalone film, but he doesn’t particularly care about the pressure of portraying the iconic character.
Speaking with IndieWire, Phoenix didn’t show much interest in discussing Joker while doing press for The Sister Brothers, but did speak his mind a bit about how fans might react to his version of the Joker.
