As a seminal video game series, Assassins Creed has been pivotal in shaping the landscape of the medium as we know it. It’s yearly release schedule came at a price though, and so the franchise taking a break from releases in 2019 is one of the best choices Ubisoft can make for the longevity of the series as a whole.
