Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition has gotten a pretty definitive release date of January 11 of next year. That puts the new release slightly over ten years after the game’s original release on the Xbox 360 in 2008.
For the definitive edition of the game, Bandai Namco is using the PlayStation 3 release, which never left Japan, as the basis for the HD remaster. This means that it includes two new characters over the original Xbox 360 version. There also appears to be a special edition in the works for fans, which at very least seems to include a steelbook bearing the face of Yuri’s dog Repede.
