Apple officially introduced its new iPhone models during its live event. The iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max are the next-generation devices joining the Apple iPhone line-up.
The phones come in three colors: Gold, Silver and Space Gray in two sizes: the Xs Max at 6.5-inches and Xs at 5.8-inch. The XS Max is the largest iPhone ever, with a 458ppi, 2688 x 1242 OLED display. Both Xs versions have OLED displays with HDR capabilities.
The Xs has Apple’s Face ID technology, and in typical Apple fashion, it claims it’s the “best” such software ever created.
Both are liquid resistant, with Apple testing it against several types of water, as well as orange juice and beer.
The Xs runs on Apple’s 7nm A12 Bionic chip, with a 4-core GPU and 6-core CPU with up to 15% more power. The new chip has greater secondary memory capabilities, allowing the new iPhones to come in sizes up to 512GB.
