Psyonix has delayed the release of its planned cross-platform friends and party system for Rocket League. Dubbed RocketID, the system was originally supposed to launch this month, but that will no longer be the case.
A post on Rocket League’s website explains that Psyonix has “made the difficult decision to push
out of September and include it in a future update. We want to ensure that RocketID is operating flawlessly on all platforms before its release, and this extra time will ensure that you’ll be playing and partying up with friends on different platforms with ease.”
