The upcoming Joker film starring Joaquin Phoenix has just cast Brett Cullen as Batman’s father, Thomas Wayne.
As reported by ComicBook.com, Brett Cullen will play the role of Bruce Wayne’s father, Thomas, and will step into the role that was previously said to be portrayed by Alec Baldwin, which the actor had recently denied.
Cullen is no stranger to the DC Universe, or even the Batman franchise, as he was a congressman in The Dark Knight Rises. He also played Barton Blaze in Ghost Rider. In addition to those roles, Cullen has appeared in Person of Interest, The Replacements, and ABC’s LOST.
