Killmonger, the infamous Black Panther villain portrayed by Michael B. Jordan in the 2018 film adaptation, is receiving his own Marvel Comics series that charts his rise to power.

Reported by Vulture, this five-part mini-series is simply called Killmonger and will follow the story of how a Wakandan called N’ Jadaka (later known as Erik Killmonger) was exiled to the United States, transforming from a promising young mind into a dangerous super villain. Though Killmonger has been around since the ‘70s, this will mark the first time the character helmed his own series.
