As much as I’m trying to stay away from Red Dead Redemption 2 until it’s out, in my hands, and robbing me of sleep, I can’t resist learning more about the setting. Exploration is at the heart of these games.
In a new promotional push, Rockstar has previewed seven notable locations with postcards, screenshots, and summaries. I somehow forgot the studio likes to come up with fictional states.
There’s the swamplands of Lemoyne, the thick forests of West Elizabeth, and the snow-capped peaks of Ambarino. Reading that back, it sounds like I’m quoting a go-nowhere Abe Simpson rant.
I look forward to the inevitable timelapse of someone riding the whole map in one go.
