Tomodachi Life is easily one of the most unexpected success stories of the Nintendo 3DS. A sequel to a game that was originally only for Japan, the quirky title went on to capture the hearts of Nintendo fans and sell over six million copies. The game even got a stage in the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. 4, where it had one song included.

With its hard-earned stage returning for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the team appears to be correcting the errors of the previous game. A new arrangement of “Afternoon on the Island,” arranged by Masafumi Takada, will be included in the upcoming game.
