Ryan Coogler is reportedly back to both direct and write a Black Panther sequel.
THR reports Coogler is returning for another Black Panther film for Marvel Studios. Coogler directed this year’s blockbuster hit Black Panther and co-wrote the film with Joe Robert Cole. THR does not mention whether Cole will also be returning to write.
According to THR, Coogler is reportedly set to write the film next year, with an alleged tentative plan to start shooting the sequel in late 2019 or early 2020. A Black Panther sequel has not officially been announced or dated, however. Outside of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Marvel’s exact post-Avengers 4 plans are largely unknown.
