I’m not sure when I did it, but at some point, I marked tomorrow on my Google Calendar as “Stanley Parable Achievement.” I had to remind myself what that meant earlier this week, but it eventually dawned on me that The Stanley Parable has an achievement for not playing the game for five years.
The Stanley Parable was released on Steam on October 17, 2013. Today is exactly five years later. For many, myself included, the wait is a little longer — according to Steam I last played the game on December 3, 2013. But at the very least, it’s a good time to look at the last time you played the game and maybe mark the five year anniversary on your Google Calendar?
