Anticipation for Red Dead Redemption II has been building pretty much since the first game released eight years ago and will finally be coming to its natural conclusion when the game releases later this month. That’s not soon enough for a lot of fans, though, and they want the peace of mind that Red Dead Redemption II will be on their harddrive ready to be played the second it goes live on the servers. For that, you only have to wait until Friday to start downloading the hefty game.

That gives you a week to download the game, which you definitely might need if you’re on a slower internet connection, as the game weighs in at just under 100 GB. Clear some space and get downloading if you want to be able to take control of protagonist Arthur Morgan right when the game launches.
Rockstar also noted that the game’s launch trailer will go live tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. ET, so make sure to come back here tomorrow for that.
Red Dead Redemption releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26.
