Earlier this month, Erroll wrote about how Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age renewed his interest in the main series. Something he didnt mention, however, was how he liked to see an older Dragon Quest game use the modern engine that Dragon Quest XI uses. The true ending of Dragon Quest XI teases this by having a fully remade scene which replicates the start of Dragon Quest III. It has not yet been confirmed if a full-on remake is happening, but it along with a few others have a great chance at being remade for a new audience.
