During an Electronic Arts earnings call, company CEO Andrew Wilson noted that Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment have several titles in the pipeline for release by the 2019 Holiday season.

Respawn has been beavering away at Star Wars adventure Jedi Fallen Order for some time now, and giving its tentative release window of late 2019, this is likely one of the games in question. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has frequently spoken of his continuing interest in the mech-warring world of Titanfall, and given that Titanfall 2 is a solid two years old now, the franchise is ready for revisiting.

Then there’s last year’s announcement that Respawn had partnered with Oculus Rift for a (non-Titanfall) first-person shooter. Things have been quiet on that front lately, so perhaps we have a third potential title there. I guess we’ll find out when the acclaimed developer is good and ready to reveal its hand to us.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is currently in development for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
